Burj Khalifa ranks among Top 3 attractions globally in taking selfies

Dubai - MENA Herald: Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building by global developer Emaar Properties, has been ranked as one of Top 3 tourist attractions globally for taking selfies only in its fifth year of opening.

Attractiontix, a UK-based attraction booking site, analyzed 219 million Instagram posts between October 2010 and January 2015 to come up with the list. The newest ‘global icon,’ Burj Khalifa ranks third after Eiffel Tower in Paris and Disneyland, Florida, and ahead of Empire State Building in New York City and London’s Big Ben.

The must-visit tourist attraction in Dubai, Burj Khalifa has over 883,000 followers on Facebook (www.facebook.com/BurjKhalifa), over 24,000 followers on Twitter (@BurjKhalifa) and over 120,000 followers on Instagram (#BurjKhalifa) and an additional 66,600 plus Instagram (#MyBurjKhalifa) followers for At the Top, Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest observation deck.
