Dubai - MENA Herald: Travelers will now enjoy an enhanced luxury shopping experience at the new VIP Terminal at Dubai South, as part of an exclusive agreement with Dubai Duty Free.
The 100 m2 Dubai Duty Free shop has been designed specifically to cater to the high profile travelers expected to pass through the VIP Terminal, this being reflected in the interior of the shop as well as the luxury line of products being sold.
The VIP Terminal, which began operations in early April, is the world’s first 7-star facility dedicated to private aviation.

Located at the centre of the VIP Terminal, the Dubai Duty Free shop is a combination of exquisite finishes including marble, high gloss veneers and gold frames and freestanding furniture designs that evoke a sense of exclusivity, similar to a luxury yacht or five-star hotel lobby.
It was designed to have several distinct areas, starting with perfumes and cosmetics, and then moving to other luxury products such as watches and technology and others. These areas have been built with very high quality custom designed furniture finished in a palette of opulent materials sourced from Italy, France and Germany.
The VIP Terminal is a 5,800 m2 facility that sits adjacent to the terminal building of Al Maktoum International Airport. Catering to a niche market, the emphasis is on its luxurious design and ambiance, service excellence, and the speed at which custom and immigration formalities are processed.
The VIP Terminal masterplan features a number of fixed base operators (FBOs), all of which are multinational aviation enterprises, providing the highest standards of luxury to their customers and members – whether private, business or government – around the clock, 365 days of the year.
