Abu Dhabi – MENA Herald: Masdar has released its 2015 Sustainability Report, documenting the renewable energy company’s sustainability milestones in the period October 2014 to September 2015. Masdar developed the report using the internationally recognised sustainability reporting framework from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), in accordance with the latest GRI G4 guidelines. The report discloses a wide variety of sustainability indicators, ranging from economic and environmental data to labour practices and employment information.
Commenting on the release of the report, Dr Nawal Al-Hosany, Director of Sustainability at Masdar, said: “Our annual report is an important tool to ensure our activities as a company at the forefront of sustainable development are fully transparent to our stakeholders and to the wider community. I am proud of the progress that was achieved in the last reporting period while our operations have continued to expand.”
