PepsiCo Extends Long-Term Partnership with Mawarid Food and Meed Trading Companies until 2025

Dubai - MENA Herald: PepsiCo, one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, Mawarid Food Company and MEED Trading Company, today announced the official renewal of their partnership agreement for ten additional years till 2025.  
Under the terms of the partnership, PepsiCo will continue to be the preferred beverage supplier to Mawarid restaurants and Meed convenience stores, including Pizza Hut in Saudi Arabia and Morocco; Taco Bell, Meed Convenience Stores and Meed Express vending operations in Saudi Arabia.
To celebrate this continued partnership, Sanjeev Chadha, PepsiCo’s CEO for Asia Middle East Africa and North Africa and Samir Abdulhadi, Managing Director, Mawarid Distribution and Trading Group, held a signing ceremony in Saudi Arabia with the presence of senior representatives from both companies.
Commenting on the renewal, Sanjeev Chadha, PepsiCo’s CEO for Asia Middle East and North Africa said: “We are privileged to renew our successful partnership with Mawarid and further strengthen the positive relationship the two companies share. Mawarid Food Company, registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in January 1989, is primarily engaged in the operations of international franchised restaurants. The Company owns the territorial rights of the Pizza Hut franchisee concept in Saudi Arabia (except Jeddah within a 30 miles radius), Morocco and Tunisia.  The Company also owns the territorial rights of Taco Bell concept in Saudi Arabia. The company currently operates 175 Pizza Hut outlets 2 Taco Bell restaurants in Saudi Arabia.
