Riyadh - MENA Herald: Saudi Build, the 27th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition, concluded on (Thursday, October 29, 2015) at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre in the KSA’s capital. The show, which was attended by several dignitaries, was highly successful with a strong footfall of more than 16,000 trade and professional visitors over the course of four days.

An official spokesperson from Riyadh Exhibitions Co. Ltd., said: “The healthy infrastructure project pipeline in the KSA has fuelled the demand for construction and building material and technology to support the growth and development. The success of Saudi Build 2015 reiterates our commitment to cater to the market demands as we bring the best international manufacturers and suppliers so that the regional industry professionals can source products locally. Aside from visitors, exhibitors also benefitted from the exhibition by closing many lucrative deals.”

Saudi Build 2015 impressed visitors through its unique display of the latest building technology solutions, some of which are new to the region. Many innovative products were also launched and demonstrated. The overwhelming response from visitors demonstrates the importance of Saudi Build in addressing the growing demand for construction-related products and services for a booming industry.

Firas Al Hamidi, Marketing Manager at Saudi Ceramic Co. said, “Saudi Build is an important exhibition for us which we continue to participate in every year, as it is a vital platform for us to meet our existing and new customers, suppliers, distributors, or consultants. This year, we had a major stand spread over 140 meters of area displaying newly launched products and we were happy with the excellent turnout on the first day. Saudi Ceramic Company is one of the leading companies in Saudi Arabia and 10th in the world in the field of floor covering. Since KSA is a desert country with scarce water resources, we support the preservation of water and have undertaken various initiatives in this regard”.

“The outcome of our participation at Saudi Build 2015 was excellent as we were able to achieve our desired goals. We have been participating in the exhibition every year and have noticed new developments every time which bears good results for exhibitors. We work in the concrete business and have received enquiries from local and regional companies for heavy equipment. Such visitor interest is a good sign for the expanding KSA market”, said Mohammed Ezz Al-Arab, Marketing Director, Pillars Projects Co., Ltd.

Eyad Al Saadi, Marketing Manager at Mazaya Aluminium commented, “We saw an excellent turnout this year as per our expectations at Saudi Build. Twenty-five years back, we did not see a huge attendance, which demonstrates the tremendous development and growth made by the KSA. It is a lucrative market for construction with several projects underway. The exhibition is the most successful so far for us where we have signed many new contracts”.

The latest edition of Saudi Build hosted over 850 companies from 38 countries in more than 25,000 sqm of exhibition space, featuring 15,000 sqm of indoor air-conditioned halls, 4,000 sqm of temporary built structure, and 5,000 sqm of open-air exhibition area. It is the only construction trade show in Saudi Arabia accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

Saudi Build offered a tailor-made platform to exhibit solutions for the entire construction industry, including building materials and equipment; architectural finishing products; stone, marble and granite products; construction tools and technology; engineering services; infrastructure materials; and security and safety systems, among others.
