Dubai - MENA Herald: Small and medium businesses (SMB) that have a higher level of digital engagement can elevate their business performance, contributing to Middle East region’s economic objectives, said industry experts announced today in the build-up to GITEX.
Compared to offline businesses, connected SMBs with higher digital engagement not only have a more successful business, but are also job creators, innovators and have more satisfied employees.
For a robust digital ecosystem, reliable Wi-Fi is critical. More and more bandwidth-intensive applications, such as IP communications and hi-def video, place greater demands on wireless networks. The Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable devices are moving into the workplace, further consuming Wi-Fi and straining the network. With all of these devices connected to the network, users will experience buffer issues.
There is thus a high demand for better connectivity to be provided by networking specialists. Businesses need to be offered an enterprise grade networking products and solutions at an affordable price point to match the demand of high speed, seamless and reliable connectivity.
“A number of the UAE’s small and medium businesses are using digital technology to grow, innovate and expand their product offering, and thus seek high speeds, uninterrupted connectivity and broad bandwidths. As a result, networking companies need to upgrade their networking solutions and products to equip SMBs with more management capabilities and better performance, and also to elevate their own SMB business,” said Amanulla Khan, Managing Director, Linksys, Middle East, Turkey & Africa, a global leader in networking solutions for the home and business.
Linksys will showcase their innovations in business solutions at GITEX Technology Week 2016. The networking leader will also highlight current technology trends and the future of home networking through the display of the latest in the company’s MAX-STREAM series of products and application based solutions.
