“Through this annual meeting we develop our cooperation and bond with strategic partners, while adhering to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which highlights the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to make major leaps forward in our efforts to achieve the UAE Vision 2021 and the Dubai Plan 2021. Our shared goal is to provide the best government services with world-class standards to achieve the happiness of our customers, stakeholders, and the community. We are eternally grateful that our journey can continue thanks to your efforts as major supporters for our success as a public utility. We take inspiration from the wise words of His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who said that, “One main reason behind the success of our Union is the one team spirit, found in every citizen. The way forward is to strengthen this spirit. We are one nation, with one constitution, one flag, one army, and one President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. Everyone, everywhere, must work hard as one team, one spirit... with one vision... and unified efforts... that is the true Spirit of Union,”” said Al Tayer
“DEWA has adopted the use of the Strategic Dimension concept, to achieve our vision of becoming a sustainable innovative world-class utility. Based on this concept, we have included our strategic goals among those we want to achieve in addition to the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, being the triple bottom line, that covers the economic, environmental and social dimensions of sustainability, stakeholders including our partners, our internal operations, and our support, learning and growth,” added Al Tayer.
“We depend on establishing a series of partnerships and cooperative programmes for added-value for all our stakeholders, in line with our mission to ensure the happiness of all our customers. We strive to build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with different local, regional and international public and private organisations. We focus on exchanging information and practices, as part of our belief in the importance of partnerships, achieving success, government excellence, and advancing the ongoing development of business. We always look forward to building and enhancing strong and long-term relations with our partners to achieve prosperity in their work as well as our own, and further enhance Dubai’s contribution to sustainable development locally, regionally and internationally, as we provide electricity and water services at the highest levels of accountability, safety and environmental responsibility.”
“I look forward to continuing partnerships with you all and working together towards prosperity for the good of our country, enhancing its competiveness with other nations, and achieving happiness for everyone who lives in the UAE,” concluded Al Tayer.
